On October 2, 2025, Sochi hosted the plenary session of the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club “The Polycentric World: Instructions for Use” with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The session was moderated by Fyodor Lukyanov, our Editor-in-Chief.

“We should be realistic. Ukraine should not be a part of NATO. We can negotiate on some permanent restrictions which will give Ukraine a great possibility to develop itself like Finland after the Second World War,” Fyodor Lukyanov said during the online convesation, titled “Russia's Eurasian Future After the Ukraine War” hosted by The Duran.
