On November 26 at 18:00 a.m. MSK (GMT+3) the public Council on Foreign and Defense Policy jointly with The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund are organizing online round table «The World without UN» as part of the project “Historical Memory Laboratory: What Happened Before Us?” The discussion will be moderated by Fyodor Lukyanov, Editor-in-Chief of Russia in Global Affairs, Chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy.

On Thursday, October 8, the Valdai Club hosted an online discussion, titled “How Do We See the UN in the 21st Century?”, which was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations. Recognising that the nature of international threats has changed significantly during its existence, the speakers noted that the UN continues to play a unique role in the international system.
